“My workweek is dynamic and impactful”
Since joining Greyt in the summer of 2023, Katinka has brought her financial expertise to multiple clients at the same time — a perfect match with her love for variety and structure. As a Greyt Controller, she works full-time, but part-time for each client: every week, she delivers concrete value to three very different organizations. Her 40-hour workweek is dynamic and diverse — and she’s truly making a difference.
Not a morning person
Katinka likes to be on time, but she’ll set her alarm as late as possible. If she works from home, she skips breakfast until after she’s cleared some emails or tackled her first task. Working out? That’s reserved for the end of the day.
Monday: No coffee required
Her week kicks off in Amersfoort at the office of Campercontact, the go-to platform for camper enthusiasts. “I don’t drink coffee, so my Monday doesn’t start like most. I jump straight into updating the books — processing invoices, preparing payments, reconciling transactions, and handling accounts receivable.”
It’s the beginning of a new month, which means: month-end close! “One of my tasks is analyzing how many subscriptions were sold through various channels. I help build dashboards and overviews so the team has a clear view of where things stand.”
“Even though I work set days for each client, I’m available and flexible throughout the week. That mix really works — for both sides.”
Tuesday: Scaling up at Datakeeper
Tuesdays look completely different. Katinka heads to Datakeeper in Utrecht — an innovative scale-up focused on data sharing and digital identification.
“Here, it’s all about streamlining financial processes. My focus is on optimization and automation — making the company scalable and future-ready.” She works closely with Frédérique, one of Greyt’s CFOs, who is also active at Datakeeper.
Midweek: Working from home
Wednesdays are flexible — and this week, Katinka is working from home. “As long as it fits my assignments, I love having the freedom to work remotely. Today, it gives me space to focus on analysis work for my third client.”
That analysis will be presented on Thursday to Plan-P, an organization focused on sustainability. “I support their administrative team and check that project reporting aligns with the books.”
Later in the day, she checks in with Marloes, her Talent Manager at Greyt. “It’s great to take a moment to reflect — is there enough challenge in my assignments? Do I need support, or maybe a course?”
“In under two years, I’ve worked for 10 different companies. You learn so much by seeing the differences in systems, CFO styles, and financial processes.”
Wrapping up: Strategy & Growth
Fridays start with the Greyt Tactical — a weekly session for all Controllers and CFOs in the Amsterdam Circle. “It’s a strong peer group and support system. We share updates, dive deeper into topics, and even talk about personal challenges.”
This week, Katinka also presents her personal development goals to the group. “After that, I have a call with Frédérique to check in on Datakeeper, so I can wrap things up before the weekend.”
“At Greyt, I’m growing in every direction. I want to become an entrepreneur in the future — and right now, I’m building a strong, diverse foundation.”
Working at Greyt
What Katinka values most? The variety, the autonomy, and the tangible impact she can make at different companies. Thanks to her broad skillset, she brings value from day one — and that’s exactly what Greyt stands for.
